Leadership Transformation for an Industrial Company

An industrial company operating across multiple countries and with a hierarchical culture faced significant challenges regarding competitiveness and profitability.

The organization recognized the need to develop leadership and people development skills to drive business success and cultural transformation.

  • We were engaged midway through a comprehensive 3-year turnaround and modernization plan, which necessitated enhanced cooperation and synergy across international operations. The successful implementation of planned initiatives demanded unprecedented participation from all levels of the organization.

    The Corporate HR Director sought our assistance in developing the capabilities of 70 managers in Portugal to facilitate dialogues that fostered their own growth as well as that of their teams, peers and supervisors.

  • The final progress questionnaire indicated high satisfaction rates with the program and acknowledgment of positive developments as recognized by stakeholders. Key findings included:  

    • Approximately 400 employees participated in the progress questionnaire.

    • Overall, 94% of respondents found the learning experience beneficial and a worthwhile investment of their time.

    • For 49% of participants, satisfaction was rated at 7 on a 1-7 scale, indicating that they found the program useful and deserving of their time.

    • Over the next six months, feedback revealed that 85% of participants, 76% of direct reports and 62% of peers reported significant improvements in the frequency and quality of feedback provided.
