Leadership Offsite Retreats

Overview

Our Approach

The design and preparation for an offsite typically take 3 to 5 weeks and involve:  

  • Refining Objectives: Collaborating with the CEO and other participants to clarify the final objectives and desired outcomes of the offsite.

  • Co-Designing the Agenda: Creating a tailored agenda and activities that align with the defined objectives, context, and participant profiles.

  • Coordinating Logistics: Organizing necessary materials, activities (which may involve third-party suppliers), and venue preparations.

    • We designed and facilitated a 40-person offsite in France for a multinational communications firm. The goal was to align on strategic priorities for the following year and improve collaboration across diverse teams, namely through fostering a deeper understanding of cultural nuances.

    • We facilitated a 30-people 1 day offsite for a Portuguese organization that wanted to speed up complex sales and needed the alignment and collaboration among different areas. We started by exploring different rhythm preferences and how they created tensions and opportunities among areas, then held key conversations on the real obstacles to speed up sales from different perspectives and closed with co-created prioritized solutions.

    • Over nearly three years, we collaborated with a CEO across three European countries and various leadership teams, facilitating seven offsites. Our focus was on aligning the team on key priorities cross-functional development projects, while fostering deeper connections and building trust.

    • In a year-long engagement, we facilitated 4 offsites for a diverse Board team of 12 people, from five different countries. Their goal was to enhance their clarity of purpose within a restructuring multinational organization, enabling them to more effectively address stakeholder expectations and foster stronger collaboration.
